Terms of Use

We know most terms of use don't get read and are pretty much a waste of time — you just check 'I agree' anyway. So here's our (hopefully) simplified, common-sense terms of use...

Firstly, we hope you use and get value out of form.ac. We're passionate about it, we hope you will be too. If you don't like form.ac, or our terms of use, or it doesn't work for you, just stop using it.

There will be problems from time to time which may well be a pain for you. We don't want them to happen and we'll work really hard to fix them but we can't promise that form.ac will work correctly or at all. So you are using it at your own risk.

We made form.ac. It's our intellectual property. While you are very welcome to use it, you don't get to own it. All code, except where otherwise stipulated in the code, is copyright form.ac Ltd 2017. Don't copy the code, reverse engineer it or create a service that's exactly the same.

If you have a problem with form.ac, talk to us first at [email protected]. We'll work hard to resolve it. If that doesn't work and you really feel you need to take thinks further then you agree that, as we're based in New Zealand, any dispute will be governed by New Zealand law and you agree to arbitration as set out by the NZ Aribtration Act, 1996 (because lawyers are expensive and it's stupid to waste money on them).

We're providing a free service that you can choose to use or not. You agree not to hold us liable for anything bad happening as a result of your use of form.ac. Also you agree to indemnify and hold harmless form.ac Ltd, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of form.ac.

This is the full agreement between form.ac Ltd and you regarding the use of form.ac and there is no other agreement. We may change these terms from time to time and, if we have your email address we'll email you about any changes otherwise the latest terms of use will be updated and available on the form.ac website.

  • Got a problem? — Talk to us, we'll try to sort it out.
  • Still not happy? — Stop using the service.
  • But, you can't sue us and if you really want try it has to be in New Zealand.
